Lectures by Rinchen Tenzin

Geshe Rinchen Tenzin is the Teacher of Bon spiritual tradition, a monk, keeping full monastic vows, the doctor of Tibetan Medicine, who is holding Bon Medical traditional line, based on the rout text "Bum Shi". Rinchen Tenzin began studying medicine in his very childhood guided by his uncle, who was the famous doctor from Kham region of Tibet. Having mooved from Tibet, he continued his education in the Bon monasteries of India and Nepal. Now he is the director of the Tibetan medicine school at the monastery of Menri in India. In the second half of the 2000s, Rinchen Tenzin paid his first visit to Russia to teach people Dharma and Tibetan medicine. His clear and deep style of teaching and successful medical practice attracted a lot of students for quite a short period of time.
In 2011 at the request of Russian-speaking Tibetan medicine doctors, Rinchen Tenzin began giving lectures and practical trainings on the most important aspects of Tibetan medicine. This material is unique: he gives medical knowledge based on the rare texts still unknown in Russia, and on his long-term practical experience coming as from India, as from our country, which is very important. Some medical knowledge was taught in Russia for the first time, in particular, detailed instructions on application of purification medicines.
Having discussed it with the Teacher, we decided to publish these lectures, understanding that they are really necessary for the TTM practitioners, who are multiplying every year in the territory of our country.
A lot of essential technical work needs to be carried out for this edition - we will have to collect all the records, choose those that will be published, to stenograph, to make a technical and literature edition, to prerare a layout for printing and so on.
All the profits from edition will be transferred to Rinchen Tenzin.
We would be grateful for any donation to this project.
