The first year of “Tanaduk” is finished and we can sum up the results.
In June 2017 we made up a decision to make a non-commercial edition of “The Complete works of Andrey Kosoburov” which was distributed by subscription. While we were preparing the book for publication, we understood that there is a great lack of information in the field of Tibetan medicine or Sowa Rigpa. Classical texts with rare exceptions are not translated from Tibetan, existing translations are not suitable for practical use, there is no unified terminology and almost no hand- books for doctors.
That was the reason for creation of Autonomous Non-Commercial Organization for assistance to Sowa Rigpa development “Tanaduk” in March 2018. Basically, we concentrated our efforts on publishing and translating activity, though we also deal in education and Sowa Rigpa legalization.
We highlight all our projects in news releases that we issue twice a month, and also we try to publish actual news on our site. We’ve slightly changed the structure of the site in accordance with the recent results of our work, and we hope to finish this work by the end of New Year holidays.
Our activity is supported by two sources - donations and gains from books sales.

ANO Tanaduk is not a usual publishing house.When we work over translation, the most important for us is not the profit and not even the self-repayment, but the accuracy of translation. First of all, we take care of the relevancy of the text to the original source. We respect and appreciate the work of translators and authors, and think that their great efforts and deep knowledge should be paid by compensation.

“Tanaduk” is a legal entityand we cannot risk our name and reputation. That is why our activity is absolutely legal.
We collect monthly donations for our activities, and I would like to ask you also for a small but regular support. The donation can be sent by several ways from Russia and now also from abroad. You can find the details under menu “Donations” on the website.

Besides four volumes of “The complete works of Andrey Kosoburov”last year we published the book “Deep inner sense”. It is a classical text on vadjra anatomy, written by III Karmapa Radjung Dorje with commentary made by Djamgon Kongtrul Yonten Gjamzo, translated from Tibetan.

We began to publish series of “Lectures by Geshe Rinchen Tenzin for doctors”We issued first of the nine books, the second will be issued in the beginning of 2019. Later we will compile this material, add popular lectures and publish a big book. All the gains will be handled to the Teacher.

Next year we plan to start two big projects: “Materia Medica Sowa Rigpa” and “Four Tantras”.
Materia Medica is an encyclopedia of raw materials of Tibetan Medicine. We plan to publish articles, devoted to each material, designed as cards that you can print out and make a big file. As a result, one can collect the full encyclopedia of raw materials. Vsevolod Orlov and Sergey Shirshov are working on the project.
Four Tantras will be published as subscript in three languages –Tibetan, Russian and English. Tibetan and English text is provided by Institute of Tibetan Medicine and Astrology Men-Tsee-Khang, we have an agreement with them for publication and use of the text. English translation will be published with some edition regarding terms transliteration. Russian translation will be made from the very beginning from Tibetan with use of modern commentaries and consultations with the Teachers.

Under translation are the books “Sowa Rigpa Points” (translated from English into Russian) and “Prescription book of Doctor Dawa” (from Tibetan into Russian).
The “Points” (translator is Elena Shirshova, editor and author of additional chapter – Anastasia Teplyakova) are already at final stage and we hope to publish it in spring.
The prescription book is translated by Sergey Shirshov and Konstantin Rukosuev. The third part of translation has been made at the moment.
Next year we will begin to translate books from Russian into English, and also “Materia Medica” will be issued in two languages – English and Russian.

Encyclopedia Sowa Rigpa is a web handbook, issued by Anastasia Teplyakova in English and Russian. The quantity of materials does not yet correspond to encyclopedia, but the content is at the highest level. We fill up the Enciclopedia by new articles twice a month, and we hope that active donations of the users will afford us to publish new articles much more often. Cost of each article 9-15 Euro.

Konstantin Rukosuev is collecting “Digital Tanaduk Library” which includes scanned copies of original texts in Tibetan. You can get any book from the list upon request. Physical library is also under collection. I’m sure that one day, we will be able to present it for common use. So far everybody can fill up the library by Tibetan Medicine books. The list of the books will soon appear on the site.

Publishing house “Tanaduk” is also planning series of popular books about Tibetan Medicine. This project is still under negotiations. Preparation of the books is done by Dmitriy Krebs.

Tanaduk is an official partner of SKY (Sorig Khang International, Academy of Tibetan Medicine under guidance of Doctor Nida Chenagtsang). The mission of both organizations is to spread Sowa Rigpa all over the world, that is the reason for friendship and good business relations in different spheres: editions and publishing, translations, education, legalization.

In November 2018 Sorig Khang Petergofwas registered. In future we will hold regular lectures and begin a four-year education program. Details will be highlighted at the site tanaduk108.com before we make a separate site for the school. E-mails will be sent from the name of SK-Petergof.

The first public lecture of Sorig Khang Petergof was held in St. Petersburg on December 19, 2018 with support of ANO “Tanaduk”. We are happy that the first lecture was read by Doctor Nida Chenagtsang. It was called “Karmamudra- yoga of bliss”.
